Very simple pairing that satisfies your carb and protein needs, with a nice herbal note from the dill. Take this recipe as a basic version that can be enhanced with other ingredients.

Ingredients
1 Salmon or Steelhead Trout filet
1/ 2 cup - Basmati or Brown Rice ( can substitute farro, quinoa, couscous)
1/2 cup - Fresh dill
1/2 lemon lemon juice
Optional/Add-ons - Onion, Asparagus, Broccoli, Leeks, Cabbage, Bok Choy
Steps
Prepare your rice via preferred methods, set aside.
Use your favorite seasoning for the fish filet. The pictured recipe was a citrus rub, with dehydrated peppers, olive oil, onions and garlic. Prepare to your specifications (Grilled, Broiled, Baked, Pan-Seared)
Chop the dill as fine as possible.
In a mixing bowl, add chopped dill and lemon juice, when the rice has cooled to near room temperature.
Serve together
