Hearty dish combining a few of our favorites, lentils, freekeh, chicken and tahini. Not the best looking but sure to taste great.

Tahini Recipe
Ingredients (serves 2)
1/2 cup black or green lentil
1/2 cup freekeh
2 Chicken breasts or thighs
Tahini, Lemon Water (per recipe).
Sumac
Steps
Prepare the chicken and tahini separately.
In a large sauce pan or stock pot, boil the freekeh and lentils in salted water (or chicken broth) together. Medium heat
Add sufficient liquid (at least 4 cups) to account for absorption.
The lentils should start to become fork tender at about 20 minutes. The freekeh will be cooked at around 15 minutes.
The stopping point is right when the lentils begin to disintegrate.
At that point, strain the lentils and freekeh and set aside.
Add the chicken, tahini and top with sumac.
